- had a croissant for breakfast (not vegan?)
- am having a cup of green tea before Second Breakfast
- feel like winter is coming, not retreating
Last night was the North End Knit 'n Sip at the usual Irish Pub.
Lissy brought her new 1930's celluloid pig tape measure: And her general purpleness:
Photo I took of Wenders a moment after she took a photo of knitcake.
The pub was incredibly cold, so not only did I have knitcake's fleece pullover on my lap, but near the end of the evening everybody realized I was wearing a sock for a scarf (It's wool! It works! I wore it half the night!). They insisted I post a picture of it on my blog, so here you go:
Not the most flattering photo. I think I may need dental work. Oh, well.
Last night, I:
- had a veggie burger (50/50 chance bun & burger vegan) with fries
- drank two cranberry tonics
- made some plot notes

What a sweet tape measure!
I would be stunned if your croissant was vegan. I beleive they typically are made with butter. Of course I have never actually made one, so I could be wrong.
I cannot believe I missed the sock neckwarmer.
croissant, not vegan...I may have to figure out how to make a vegan one, I do so love a good chocolate croissant.
I didn't realize how purple Lissy was last nite!
I am very amused at being characterized as generally purple. You are quite correct. If I am not purple, I am either green or brown. I'm a creature of habit and I likes what I likes. On the other hand, I don't want to go around looking like "Grimace," that big purple creature from the old McDonalds commercials. But I won't forego purple, so I guess I'll have to just lose weight! :)
Thanks for posting a pic of my tape measure. And I LOVE the sock/scarf pic.
